Maestra Jasmin Velázquez

Jasmin Velazquez has been part of Los Lupeños Academy for the past four years and is currently a full-time undergraduate student at San José State University. She was also a full-time company dancer with Los Lupeños de San José from 2019 to 2024.

Throughout her journey, folklórico has played an important role in her life, teaching her discipline, strengthening her respect for her culture, and deepening her appreciation for the music, traditions, and attire that are central to this art form.

Jasmin is grateful to be part of an organization that values cultural preservation, education, and dance. She looks forward to continuing to inspire future dancers while helping preserve and carry forward the Los Lupeños legacy.
